Coloring the Old Parish Landscape

Description

Using 3D Design & Studio software the students of Norwood High School will create a visual image of Norwood’s historical data with crocheted and woven-shirt. The length and colors will represent Norwood citizens who have served in the militaries, birth rates and miles of roads in Norwood. The woven and crocheted shapes will be wrapped around key trees and landscape profiles in the Old Parish Cemetery - no gravestones will be touched.

Join us to preview the installation, the grand opening and to walk around the exhibition.

October 24-28: Preview/installation Week

The public is welcome to see the exhibition as it is coming together.

October 29 Grand Opening at 2:00 pm

October 30-November 5: Exhibition remains open to the public.

During the two weeks of the project from October 24-November 5, Old Parish Cemetery will be open from dawn to dusk for the public to visit and view the art installation.
